Presentations:

At the Breakthrough you will need to be ready for two presentations:

1. Scrutineering

You will need to demonstrate that your vehicle meets the entrance requirements for your category. It is especially important that you understand all the safety requirements and can show how your entry meets these.

2. Team Presentations

You will need to involve all racing members of the team in a presentation that tells the story of your journey to EB. This is your opportunity to show off all the hard work that has gone into preparing for the Breakthrough!

Your presentation must cover:-

How your project was run:

• Who did what?

• How were decisions made?

• How did you plan and track progress?

The design and operation of your vehicle:

• Are there special energy saving features?

• What Maths and Physics was used in the design?

The process by which it was made:

• How did you resource the project?

• How did you go about recruiting assistance?

• Who helped out and how?

Safety equipment and driving skills:

• What did you do to learn about safe handling of the vehicle?

• What safety features have been built in to it?

How energy is used and saved in the full lifecycle of the vehicle:

• What did you learn about energy during the project?

• What impact does energy have on shaping our society?
